StoreSeek — Privacy Policy

StoreSeek ("the App") is a store locator application for Wix websites. This policy describes what data the App processes, why, and the choices you have. The App is operated by the StoreSeek team ("we", "us").

Data we process for site owners

When you install the App on your Wix site we store: your Wix app instance identifier, your site's address (domain), your current App plan, and the store location data you enter (names, addresses, coordinates, contact details, descriptions, translations, and optional images). This data is required to render your store locator and to operate your dashboard. We do not receive your Wix account password or payment details; billing is handled entirely by Wix.

Data we process for site visitors

The store locator widget served to your site's visitors requests your published location list from our servers. We do not set tracking cookies, we do not build visitor profiles, and we do not sell or share visitor data. When a visitor uses the address search, the address they type is sent to a geocoding service (OpenStreetMap Nominatim) solely to resolve it to map coordinates; it is not stored by us. Map tiles are loaded from our map tile provider to display the map.

Where data is stored

Application data is hosted on Vercel (serverless hosting) and Neon (managed Postgres database). Location images are stored in Vercel Blob storage. Infrastructure providers process data on our behalf under their respective data processing agreements.

Data retention and deletion

If you uninstall the App, your data is retained for 30 days (so you can reinstall without losing your locations) and then permanently deleted. You can request earlier deletion at any time using the contact below.

Your rights

Depending on your jurisdiction (including under the GDPR), you may have the right to access, correct, export, or delete personal data we hold about you. Contact us and we will respond within 30 days.
